Upper and lower blepharoplasty
Upper blepharoplasty
What is "upper blepharoplasty"?
As a person ages, the eyelids begin to droop due to the loss of skin elasticity or the accumulation of fat. Upper blepharoplasty corrects this drooping of eyelids.
Characteristics of upper blepharoplasty
With the elevation of the eyelids that obscure the view, it resolves sight-related discomfort and removes the cause of forehead wrinkles that appear as one sharply raises one's eyes. The post-operative satisfaction is particularly high for those whose skin elasticity has decreased, since this surgery is very effective in such cases and patients appear much younger.

Comparison of before and after surgery
Lower blepharoplasty
What is lower blepharoplasty?
During the natural aging process, the periorbital fat sags, leaving a bulge below the eye. This causes more wrinking below the eye, causing one to appear old and tired. Lower blepharoplasty corrects this bulging and its effects.
Characteristics of lower blepharoplasty
By removing the drooping skin and fat, the wrinkine below the eye disappears and the overall appearance of the eye becomes younger. At D&A, we do not use a 'one-size-fits-all' approach, but first thoroughly examines each and every patient and decides how to operate accordingly; ill-considered lower blepharoplasty may cause the eye rim to appear deeper, meaning the person may appear older or the face may look darker overall due to bags under one's eyes.
